2. Data which is collected and the purpose of data processing

We collect personal data on the basis of your consent to perform a contract with you and/or to fulfil a legal obligation. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

3. Usage data

We collect usage data when you visit our homepage:
Time of access
Browser type and version
Operating system
Device data
IP address (anonymised).

We store this usage data separately from other data. We process the usage data exclusively for statistical purposes, to guarantee system security, for technical improvement and to optimise the web services on offer.

4. Passing on data

Personal data will only be passed on to third parties or contractors for commissioned data processing if this is necessary for the respective purposes. We pass on personal data to specialised service providers, for example to shipping and payment service providers. Data will only be transmitted to third countries if we expressly refer to this in this Privacy policy.

5. Data erasure

Personal data which is stored will be erased if you revoke your consent for processing, if the data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was stored or if its storage is or becomes prohibited for other legal reasons. If the data is erased or blocked, the corresponding services can no longer be used.

7. Competitions

If you take part in a competition, we collect the personal data you provide for the purpose of the implementation of the competition and for statistical purposes. We will send you an email to the email address you have provided to inform you of the outcome of the competition. Your personal data will be transmitted to the competition partner exclusively for the purpose of sending any prizes. Stored personal data will be erased when it is no longer required for the implementation of the competition or when the storage of this data is no longer required for other legal reasons.

You have the right to request the rectification, erasure or restriction of personal data concerning you. If your data is erased or restricted, however, you can no longer use the corresponding services. Your right to erasure may be excluded by legal storage obligations.

9. Data security

We protect your personal data from the risks associated with data processing, in particular from unauthorised access, use or publication. For this purpose we maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures that are based on the current state of the art.

10. Cookies and tracking tools

We use temporary session cookies and permanent cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored on your end device and enable analysis of the use of the homepage to be carried out. We use cookies and other data collection tools to collect data that helps us personalise our services.

10.1 Google Analytics

The homepage uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics enables an analysis of the use of the website by the user to be carried out. The IP address transmitted within the framework of Google Analytics is not merged with other data by Google. You may prevent the collection of data relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by deactivating Google Analytics in your browser. Google offers you the option of deactivating Google Analytics via a browser add-on.

10.2 Facebook Pixel

We use the "conversion pixel" or visitor action pixel provided by Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Facebook"). By accessing this pixel from your browser, Facebook can subsequently recognise whether a Facebook advertisement was successful, e.g. whether it led to an online purchase transaction. We only receive statistical data from Facebook for this purpose without reference to a specific person. This allows us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes.
