Lightning / overvoltage protection

Any electrical engineering infrastructure is only as good as its protection against lightning and overvoltage. Any disruption or failure of the infrastructure may have far-reaching consequences that can threaten the existence of a company.
Current damage statistics from electronics insurers show that lightning/overvoltage incidents are worrying causes of malfunctions. More than a quarter of all cases of damage are caused by overvoltage incidents due to electromagnetic influences.

Energy supply

Our working life and our value creation are no longer imaginable without technical and communication devices. An uninterruptible power supply is therefore of utmost importance for every building. A short-term failure of production equipment and computer systems can cause damages amounting to millions nowadays and can be avoided almost without exception by good planning.

The basic prerequisite for a reliable electrical infrastructure supply is, first of all, a detailed analysis and determination of requirements. Only by diagnosing the exact performance data and planning the necessary cable cross-sections and the protection for these can a high degree of supply reliability be guaranteed as a primary objective.

In general, the power is supplied from the low-voltage network of an energy supply company. However, the above-mentioned reliability may make it necessary to obtain a supply from the medium-voltage network as and when necessary.

Furthermore, there is the technical possibility of ensuring a network-independent, uninterrupted power supply by means of uninterruptible power supply systems or emergency power systems.


GSM / UMTS distribution systems

Where would the world be without mobile communication and data exchange via mobile phones, smartphones etc.? We can no longer imagine our lives and the working world without our devices that we use everyday. Nevertheless, there are often architectural limits to mobile availability. Lighting design

We take into account the design aspects relating to staging and accentuation, as well as making a contribution to sustainability aspects, e.g. optimised energy consumption by choosing the right light source. As a sub-discipline of electrical planning, lighting design is more than just the basic illumination of a building structure: At our company, it forms the intersection between a deep, holistically rooted understanding of architecture and our expertise in electrotechnical engineering as an art form. On this basis, HF-GmbH has its own department for all planning activities in the field of lighting.

Medium- and low-voltage installations

With increasing energy demand, obtaining the supply from the basic 400 V low-voltage network of the local energy supplier is no longer possible. In these cases, you need to obtain the supply from the medium-voltage network (10 or 20 kV network). This results in the installation of a transformer station, which is generally owned by the customer.
